Thevakingsley Arulananthem ordained Deacon
Rev. Thevakingsley Arulananthem at his ordination as deacon.
The solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary was a double celebration this year, as it also saw the ordination of Rev. Thevakingsley Arulananthem as a deacon in the Diocese of Westminster by Bishop Bernard Longley.
For the first time in many years the ordination took place in the Allen Hall chapel. In the intimate and familiar surroundings of the chapel, Bishop Bernard preached about Kingsley's duties in his new state of life, and extolled him to be a true servant of the Gospel. After the Mass Kingsley particularly thanked his parents and the Passionists, with whom he began his vocation journey, and asked for the prayers of all present.
