Unlike many others, who are called to the priesthood from a young age, my calling was fairly recent and sudden: in fact only at the end of 2003. No one was more surprised than me. After working 20 years in the public sector, I took a career break. This led me to make enquiries about the priesthood. After a period of spiritual direction I applied in 2005 and with the help of God was accepted and began my formation last September. It is so true - God can call at anytime. I am very happy to be at Allen Hall.
