Born and raised as a Lutheran in Levanger (the prelature of Trondhjem), university studies in Trondhjem (1976-81), M.Arch. 1981, worked as an architect 1981-91. Left the separated brethren of the Lutheran ecclesiastical community and became a Catholic in 1992. Mainstream catholic with an objectivity complex. Worked as a factotum in St Olav Parish in Trondhjem (1993-97) and for the Information Service of the diocese of Oslo (1997-2004). In Allen Hall from September 2004, instituted as lector in 2006 and acolyte in 2008. Theology studies at Heythrop College from 2006.
