During my time at University I began to take my faith much more seriously, and consider what I would do with the rest of my life; the one thought that never left my head was that of priesthood. After much thought and prayer on this, I spoke to my University Chaplain and Parish Priest about it, who encouraged me greatly, and told me to contact my diocese's Vocations Director who guided me through the process. As I start my time at Allen Hall the words of St John the Baptist resonate ever more loudly, “He must increase, I must decrease” (Jn 3:30). |
