David Lucuy Claros

I come from Santa Cruz, Bolivia and I joined the Redemptoris Mater House of Formation in September 2006. This is my first year at Allen Hall. I used to work as teacher of leather carving craft and studied Religious Education. My vocation developed in a Neo-catechumenal community of my home parish, San Miguel, for about 8 years. During this time, three years of experience as itinerant catechist in a town in the south of Bolivia (Tarija) helped me to discern God’s calling to the priesthood, which was confirmed in a pilgrimage for the World Youth Day in Cologne in 2005, where by the grace of God I said “yes” to the plan of God.
