Diocese: Lancaster
Year: Fourth
Born: 1981
Home parish: Christ the King, Milnthorpe
Previously: Medical Student

In 2001 during my studies in Manchester, I was diagnosed with having a brain tumour. During the subsequent and extensive treatment I felt like the only way forward was to put my life into God's hands. I began to reflect on whether I was fulfilling God's will in my life. My desire became more and more one of helping people spiritually, not just physically. I spent some time at the house of formation in Cumbria so as to discern further God’s call. Now that I’m here I’m beginning to realise the plan that God has for me—daunting but rewarding!
