My early childhood was in Merseyside, and subsequently in Portsmouth. I emigrated with my family to Brisbane, Australia. I went to High school there with the OMI Fathers and then went on to study Philosophy and Political Science at the University of Queensland. I took a gap year, then returned to complete post-graduate honours in International Relations. After graduation I took a full-time position with the hotel in which I was already working, and promotion to management positions followed. I was employed as the Concierge of a medium-sized city hotel, and latterly held the position of Guest Relations Manager also. I was given the opportunity to return to the UK, to spend a year living and helping out in a parish in the Isle of Man. At the conclusion of this I moved to London and returned to hotel work, this time in West London. During my time in London I have lived with family in North London, attending St Joseph’s Parish in Highgate. |
