The thought of priesthood first occured to me when I was 6 years old. I had seen a priest come into church after the Way of the Cross and as he genuflected, a calm wind touched his cope and it waved in a very attractive way. So, there and then, I said I had to put on the cope as well. As time went on, I realised that there was more to priesthood than a cope. I did abandon the idea then! But then after sometime, it came back to me that despite all that I had in the world and the happiness I enjoyed all the time, there was a missing bit. The only place to find that missing bit to perfect happiness in its totality, was in the priesthood. So, here I am at Allen Hall in pursuit of the missing bit to perfect happiness in its totallity. |
