Mark Walker

After finishing school, I went straight to Durham University to study history. Coming to the end of my time there, I started to consider more seriously a vocation to the priesthood and so after graduation in June 2006 I contacted the diocesan vocations director. In the year since graduation I worked at Pax Travel, a pilgrimage travel company, which gave me the opportunity to help groups travelling to Lourdes, and also to get to know the diocese better. I applied to the diocese at Christmas 2006 and was accepted in March to study at Allen Hall from September 2007.
